Thank you so much for sharing the latest and greatest with your perspective. I absolutely agree with your take on shifting accountability upward. I learned which ELA curriculum I "get to vote for" this week. They are both cheap and received low ratings from TRL's curriculum review guide. If I know this, as a 2nd grade teacher in my district with nothing more than a love of learning to guide me...why in the world don't the folks at the top of the district making 6 figures know? Without that shift, and more clear alignment between the science and the classroom, I am looking forward to another year of creative needle threading (what I do v. how learning is assessed on the big box) and more resentment for expectations v. reality. I'll keep reading to see positive movement in this arena. I do think national databanks could help bring successful district structures/cultures to scale nationally. Thanks again for your voice, it resonates with my weekend edu-travels and I appreciate your sharing.

I’m your “Full Meal Deal” gal, and I’ve got to know if your BeltBuster tagline is DQ adjacent?? If not, I’ll share the unbelievable connection with you! 🤣

And, this week’s addition WAS indeed huge!
